ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Isotopes and Dion’s are making sure children are reading throughout their summer vacation. The three agencies say they are committed to providing programs that support youth in New Mexico.
The Club Reading Program encourages students to read throughout their summer vacation and rewards them for their dedication. The program is divided into multiple tiers. Students who read six age-appropriate books can fill out their first scorecard which can be redeemed for one slice of pizza with one topping at Dion’s.
Students who then read six more and fill out the second scorecard receive a number of prizes including a free Isotopes ticket and a coupon for a free small drink. They also receive a grand prize entry. The program runs through July 29. For more information on the program, click this link.
