ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – The Roswell Police Department has arrested 38-year-old Roman Hernandez for the fatal shooting of his 50-year-old roommate. Roswell police say Hernandez called 911 just after 5 p.m. on Friday.

Man found guilty for NE New Mexico prison attack

Police believe Hernandez moved the victim from a bedroom to the kitchen and put the gun that was used in a vehicle. They believe Hernandez and the victim were in an argument and that Hernandez was intoxicated at the time of the shooting. Hernandez has been charged with voluntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence.
