Visit Albuquerque lists June events around the city

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – With the month of June arriving, Lara Brockway from Visit Albuquerque has a list of some events happening around the city during June.

Albuquerque Pride Parade

June 8, starting at 10 a.m. running on Central from Girard to San Mateo. This is one of Albuquerque’s largest parades and celebrates the LGBTQ+ community. People can show up along the route to enjoy the parade and show their support for the community.

Heights Summerfest

June 15, from 5 – 10 p.m. at North Domingo Baca Park. The event features national headliner “The Original Wailers.” Along with the headliner, live music will be playing throughout the event. Guests can enjoy a large selection of food from local food trucks, breweries, distilleries and wineries. Local businesses will be on hand selling things from handcrafted items, jewelry, clothing, art, home goods and more. There will be activities and fun for the whole family.

New Mexico United vs. FC Juarez

June 19, at 7 p.m. at Isotopes Park. United hosts FC Juarez in an international friendly match. It will be the third international friendly that United has hosted and the first against a Mexican club.

Festival Flamenco de Albuquerque

June 21-29. The festival includes 20 performances, plenty of workshops, performance companies from all over the world, over 90 performers and two world premier shows. The festival will feature a diverse interpretation of flamenco and performances from world renowned performers and up-and-coming artists. 

The Great New Mexico Beer Festival

June 22, from 12 – 6 p.m. at Balloon Fiesta Park. Guests can enjoy over 100 craft beers from some of the state’s top breweries. There will be food, music, games, movies, a market and much more for people to enjoy while at the event.
