Episode 3 of the new rom-com K-drama, Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale, aired on TVING on Friday, June 7, 2024. The latest episode reveals that Moon Cha-Min (Lee Jun-Young) and Ban Dan-A’s (Song Ji-Woo) engagement is part of a business strategy. They do not have any romantic feelings for each other.

Episode 3 of Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale begins right where the previous episode ends. Shin Jae-Rim (Pyo Ye-Jin) meets Ban Dan-A (Song Ji-Woo) for the first time. She addresses herself as Moon Cha-Min’s (Lee Jun-Young) fiancé. Jae-Rim feels quite uneasy after meeting her; thus, she leaves immediately. Then, the episode discloses that, in reality, Moon Cha-Min and Ban Dan-A do not have romantic feelings for each other. Their engagement is based on a business strategy.
After returning home, Moon Cha-Min can not get the thoughts about Shin Jae-Rim out of his mind. He does not understand why he is thinking about her. The next day at the social club, he orders Jae-Rim to wash a bunch of lace curtains. Although it is a heavy task, Jae-Rim completes it. Seeing Jae-Rim, Cha-Min walks up to her, and the two get caught up in a heart-fluttering moment. Ban Dan-A witnesses it and gets furious at both of them. She then goes on to advise Jae-Rim to visit a well-known shaman to fulfill her desire to have a fairytale-like love life.
Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale episode 3 then displays the shaman asking Jae-Rim to keep a letter describing her dream man always with herself. Thus, she has it with her at the social club. Suddenly, the letter flies away with the wind and lands on a charming man, Baek Do-Hong (Kim Hyun-Jin). Seeing him, Jae-Rim starts to believe that the man may be her prince charming. The episode ends with Cha-Min seeing them together.
