Notably, the American television host was also missing from season one of the Netflix reality series, causing fans to wonder about her absence. As a result, her partner and versatile artist, Nick Lachey, appeared as the sole host for the celebrated dating show.

Why Vanessa Lachey is not on Perfect Match Season 2?
The major reason behind Vanessa Lachey not co-hosting the show with her husband seems to be her packed filming schedule.
The married pair has already hosted a number of dating shows together, including Love is Blind and The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On. This is why, it came as a big surprise when Vanessa Lachey chose to completely opt out of the Perfect Match series.
In an interview with People in February 2023, Nick Lachey clarified that even though her celebrity partner would’ve been perfect for the job, she “could not make it happen.” “But yeah, we love hosting together. We love doing this together,” he added.
The Disaster Movie star has been heavily occupied with her role in the different NCIS shows for a long time now. Therefore, the resulting scheduling conflicts could have deterred the 43-year-old actress from adding another hosting gig to her CV.
Nevertheless, Nick Lachey has revealed that he is thrilled to take on this project on his own. Despite not being able to sign up for Perfect Match, Vanessa Lachey took to Instagram to express how proud she was of her husband.
The first six episodes of Perfect Match Season 2 are currently available on Netflix for streaming, with the remaining episodes set to come out later this month.
