Hannah Waddingham and Jason Sudeikis are not dating each other. However, they appear to be very close friends.
Waddingham and Sudeikis became friends after meeting and working together on Ted Lasso. As per Today, Hannah Waddingham attended Jason Sudeikis’ charity show on November 11, 2023, Thundergong! in Kansas City, where the two of them sang a duet of “Shallow.”
Later, Sudeikis and the rest of the cast and crew from Ted Lasso made special appearances in Waddingham’s Christmas special, Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas, which aired on Apple TV Plus. In an interview with People in December 2023, Waddingham elaborated on Sudeikis’ appearance, claiming she “had to have him in the special” and called him “my greatest champion.” She further added that they were really great friends who celebrated each other and their achievements.
In 2021, during her Supporting Actress in a Comedy win at the 73rd Emmy Awards, Waddingham thanked Jason Sudeikis and expressed gratitude toward him for seeing something in her and for changing her and her child’s lives.
As of June 2024, Jason Sudeikis is reportedly dating Elsie Hewitt, though he has not officially confirmed the relationship. As for Waddingham, she is currently single after splitting from businessman Gianluca Cugnetto after a 10-year relationship. Waddingham and Cugnetto have one daughter together, whom Waddingham has been raising as a single mother since 2023.
