Story time in the park kicks off at Albuquerque’s Aztec park

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – In partnership with Albuquerque Public Schools’ Story Time in the Park, the City of Albuquerque, and Bernalillo County, KRQE Cares Books for Kids kicked off the summer story time sessions at Aztec Park.

During each session, volunteers read a book to the students while they enjoy a meal provided by the city or county. At the end of each session every child is given a free book to take home. Thursday’s book reading was “Sea Bear, a Journey of Survival” by Lindsay Moore. For a full list of story time in the park locations, click here.
