ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating after a person was found dead near Carlisle Blvd. and I-40 Tuesday morning.
Police say Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded after receiving a report of an unresponsive individual in the area. First responders arrived on scene and determined the individual was dead. APD says homicide detectives are investigating due to the suspicious nature of the death.
Details are limited. The westbound I-40 on ramp to Carlisle is closed while the death is being investigated.
