APD recovers truck, mobile kitchen stolen from Urban Hot Dog

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A mobile kitchen trailer and pickup truck that was stolen from Urban Hot Dog was recovered by APD.

Police said they recovered the Dodge Ram pickup Tuesday night. The truck was initially stolen on April 30 or May 1 from a storage space in northeast Albuquerque. Polie said thieves abandoned the mobile kitchen trailer, which was later recovered, and kept the pickup.

Auto Theft detectives located the truck Tuesday in the area of Central Avenue and Central Avenue SE. Detectives conducted surveillance and saw a man and a woman leave the truck and get on a city bus. Detectives followed the bus and took the pair into custody at Central and Wyoming Blvd.

Detectives arrested Moorman Young, 46, and charged him with receiving or transferring motor vehicles.
