BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The county’s Animal Care Services is looking for help caring for orphaned kittens. The tiny kittens need special bottle feeding, the county says.
The kittens are too young to eat on their own, so they need bottle feeding every few hours. County staff will provide training and supplies for foster volunteers.
If you’re interested in fostering kittens, you can fill out an interest card at this link. The county says they’ve taken in 121 stray kittens in the last month. Foster care helps the kittens grow until they are ready for adoption.
