Drier and warmer conditions into the workweek

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Widespread showers and thunderstorms have developed this afternoon with multiple flash flood warnings and severe thunderstorm warnings across the state. These showers and storms will continue through the rest of the evening and into the early morning hours of Monday.

Drier and warmer weather starts moving into New Mexico on Monday, but a few isolated storms are still likely. Storm chances diminish quickly starting Tuesday as we likely see the end of this year’s monsoon season. Dry and warmer weather will stick around into the beginning of October.
