The Eagle Rock baseball team beat Monroe 12-8 on Friday night to win the CIF Los Angeles City Section Division II title at Stengel Field. It’s the second championship the Eagles have won in program history.
Reilly Brousseau went 2 for 4 at the plate with an RBI triple for Eagle Rock (15-8) and Jaden Jimenez was 3 for 3 with two RBIs and two runs. Enrique Camberos was 2 for 4 with a double, two RBIs and a run.
Eagle Rock beat Rancho Dominguez, King/Drew and Port of Los Angeles in the playoffs to reach the championship game.
