NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Rain activity with high-elevation snow is widespread across northern New Mexico with some strong thunderstorms in eastern New Mexico. While winds out west are slowly drifting the precipitation to the east, southerly upper-level winds are pushing individual storms to the north. Meanwhile, easterly winds are bringing in plenty of surface moisture with fog in the high elevations, as well as in parts of the east highlands.
