Like trains? Got kids? Then head over to Depot Day at Travel Town Train Museum in Griffith Park. It starts at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 12. This outdoor museum is dedicated to preserving the history of train travel, and has more than 40 historic locomotives and train cars.
The event will include food trucks, performances by high school jazz bands, docent tours, g-scale train displays, a (member-only) Halloween Costume Parade and contest along with a train play area and more. It’s great for families, but adults too.
