“It’s not your patients’ job to heal you.” Apple TV has revealed the official trailer for the next season of the acclaimed streaming series called Shrinking, a comedy about shrinks. The first season from 2023 (trailer here) ended up with 2 Emmy nominations. This next season will continue where the first left off. Shrinking follows a grieving therapist who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives…including his own. “Side effects may include tears, laughter, and Jimmying.” In addition to Jason Segel and Harrison Ford returning to their lead roles as therapists, Shrinking stars Emmy Award nominee Christa Miller, with Emmy Award nominee Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley.
