Amazon Prime Video‘s popular Korean variety show Jinny’s Kitchen (Seojin’s) will return with season 2 in June. BTS V, aka Kim Taehyung, was one of the most popular cast members of season 1. So, fans want to know if V will also be a part of the second season of Jinny’s Kitchen 2.
Season 1 of Jinny’s Kitchen aired on February 24, 2023, and ended on May 5. The eleven-episode variety show included K-pop icon BTS V, Park Seo-Joon, Choi Woo-Shik, Lee Seo-Jin, and Jung Yu-Mi. The first season of Jinny’s Kitchen happened in Mexico. Cast members set up a Korean street food shop in a foreign country to entertain tourists and locals.
Go Min Si replaces BTS V in Jinny’s Kitchen (Seojin’s) 2
Na PD‘s Korean food variety show, Jinny’s Kitchen, aka Seojin’s 2, will return on June 28 on Amazon Prime Video, and Go Min-Si will replace BTS V in the main cast. The Youth Of May star will be the new intern of the show, a position that Taehyung proudly occupied in season 1.
As BTS’ V currently serves in the Korean mandatory military service, the show’s sequel will not feature the singer. According to reports, Jinny’s Kitchen 2 will occur in Iceland’s Reykjavik, and the cast members will follow a similar format as season 1. Following the first season, Jinny’s Kitchen 2 will see Korean veteran actor Lee Seo-Jin as the CEO. The cast members will introduce new tourists to some of the most loved Korean delicacies.
The first-look trailer of Jinny’s Kitchen 2 reveals the complete cast of the upcoming show. Season 2 will feature Park Seo-Joon, Choi Woo-Shik, Lee Seo-Jin, Jung Yu-Mi, and Go Min-Si. The teaser also gives a sneak peek of the episodes. In one scene, Seo Jun looks flustered, sitting on the floor of a kitchen, explaining what kind of an exhausting day it was.
Fans familiar with season 1 of Jinny’s Kitchen know the show has a challenging format. The cast members must constantly keep up with the flow of customers and serve them delectable Korean food.
