Noteworthy: Kamilla Basyrova is off to a great start. The standout sophomore is averaging 18.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 3.3 steals and 1.5 blocks per game in six games for the Vikings. The 5-foot-10 forward led Valencia to a win over Hart last week, which helped Valencia improve to 5-1 overall this season and 1-0 in Foothill League play.
