ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico State Fair released its 2025 fair attendance number on Tuesday along with the dates for the 2026 fair.
This year, the fair welcomed 514,458 visitors across its 11-day run, marking the second-highest attendance number since the fair switched to an 11-day format in 2012.

“Every year, our focus is on safety, affordability, and top-tier entertainment,” said General Manager Dan Mourning in a news release. “Fairgoers from across the state and even across the country continue to report high satisfaction with regard to their fair experience, solidifying our spot as one of the top fairs in the nation. The New Mexico State Fair is the perfect chance for New Mexicans to come together and celebrate what makes our state great!”
Fair officials attribute the attendance success to a number of factors, including continued efforts to make the fair more affordable with flash sales and discount days and also factoring in new entertainment.
As for the 2025 New Mexico State Fair livestock, it recorded the second-highest sale total ever with $738,700 raised for 4-H and FFA youth across the state.
The New Mexico State Fair also announced that next year’s fair dates, will be Sept. 10-20, 2025.
