Nintendo has deployed Nintendo Switch update 18.1.0, ditching Twitter/X integration on Nintendo’s hybrid platform. Aside from the regular system stability improvements that Nintendo’s firmware updates offer, this new system update ends the integration of X/Twitter by removing the “Post to Twitter” option when sharing from the Switch Album in the HOME Menu. In addition, the firmware update removes the option to post Super Smash Bros. Ultimate screenshots to Smash World in the Nintendo Switch Online smart device application.
