Ono Hawaiian BBQ is partnering with the Walt Disney Co. on a collection of totes tied into the upcoming movie “Lilo & Stitch.”
The chain’s kids’ meals, called Ono Keiki Meals, are being served in one of three collectible lunch bags, each featuring Stitch, an unruly space creature, and a colorful floral pattern.
Keiki Meals include a choice of chicken, fish or shrimp entrees, a scoop of rice, steamed vegetables, Tree Top apple sauce and apple juice for about $7.99, depending on location.

A larger Stitch bag is available for Ohana Meals, which serve four to five people and include choice of three proteins and two sides for about $47.99.
“Lilo & Stitch” will open in theaters on May 23. It’s a remake of the 2002 fully animated film set in Kauai. It tells the story of a young girl who bonds with the extraterrestrial. The new version calls itself live action and features on-screen actors playing the humans.
Other “Lilo & Stitch” tie-ins so far include a movie ticket contest with Fandango and the the National Mango Board and a Hawaiian Airlines aircraft livery.
AMC Theatres will have an opening night fan event on May 22 that includes a make-your-own-bracelet kit. Snack bars will offer a Blue Raspberry Wave Icee.
Ono Hawaiian BBQ serves Hawaiian favorites such as Chicken Katsu, Spam Musubi and mac salad. It’s based in Diamond Bar, not Diamond Head.
