Santa Fe police arrest man accused of attacking NMDOT workers

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Santa Fe Police Department arrested a man on Friday for threatening New Mexico Department of Transportation employees with a knife. They said 36-year-old Fredrick Williams attempted to stab crew members as they were trying to get into their work vehicles near Alta Vista Street.

He has a lengthy criminal history, including second-degree murder and kidnapping. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and evidence tampering.
