Aussie rockers Southern Sons are hitting the road again in 2025, starting at the end of January and wrapping up in May 2025.
The announcement comes after Southern Sons embarked on their first tour in 25 years earlier this year. Still hungry to tour, the band will play all their hits in regional and metro locations to celebrate their 35th anniversary.
Tickets to all dates are now available on Southern Sons’ website.
Beginning the run in Caloundra, Queensland, the band will then perform in Tweed Heads, Sale, Wonthaggi, Warrnambool, Ballarat, Wyong, Thirroul, South Morang, Frankston, Warragul, Bendigo, Launceston, Hobart, Perth, Wangaratta, and wraps up in Melbourne. You can find all the dates and venues below.
Original members Jack Jones, Geoff Cain, and Peter ‘Reggie’ Bowman will be joined by Pete Drummond on drums. You can expect to hear Heart In Danger, Hold Me In Your Arms, Always & Ever, Waiting For That Train, and many more on the upcoming tour.
Jack Jones said about the 35th-anniversary tour, “I’m proud of everything I’ve done, but Southern Sons is where it all started for me. The band represents a remarkable time in my life.”
While Southern Sons performed at the November 2019 One Electric Day event in Cockatoo Island, Sydney, prior to their tour in February and March of this year, they hadn’t toured Australia in 25 years.
