State baseball, softball tournaments – round 1 scores, highlights

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The first round of the state baseball and softball tournaments took place on Saturday. 3A-5A Baseball teams finished their best of three series while 4A-5A softball teams played their first games in the double-elimination round. All baseball scores listed represent the amount of games won in the series.

All teams that won on Saturday advanced to the next round of the tournament, which will take place on Thursday. Baseball games will be played at the Jennifer Riordan Spark Kindness Sports Complex and softball games will be played at Cleveland High School.
