Turkish Furniture Maker Plans to Open Factory in Romania
The furniture manufacturer Adore Home from Turkey, active on the Romanian market since 2022, estimates that in 2024 it will register a turnover of 3 million euros on the local market, 2.3 times higher than the level of 1.3 million euros from 2023. In the medium term, the company is considering the construction of a furniture factory in Romania and expansion in nine countries in Central and Western Europe.
“Adore Home’s goals are to become the best-known international brand of the flat-pack furniture industry and a reliable partner for its customers. We also want to expand our furniture production and delivery to nine more European countries in the next five years. We believe that the support of our customers is extremely valuable in achieving this goal,” said Gokhan Caliskan, Co-Founder and COO of Adore Home.
With over 30 years of experience in the furniture industry, Adore Home boasts more than 900 sales and delivery points across 50+ countries. In the next five years, the company plans to expand its furniture production and delivery to nine additional European countries: Germany, the Netherlands, Greece, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, France, Italy, and Slovakia.
In Romania, the company has been active since 2022, has 40 employees and operates an online store, which allows fast delivery of the products in stock throughout the country.
Worldwide, Adore Home has over three million customers, of which 120,000 are in Romania. About 80% of the company’s turnover is provided by online sales, and this percentage will increase slightly from year to year, given the behavior of consumers and the natural trend of the market.
The furniture sold by AdoreHome.ro is imported from the 248,000 square meter factory owned by the company in Ankara, Turkey, but also from carefully selected suppliers from countries such as Greece or Denmark.
