NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – WalletHub released recent study, which ranks the best foodie cities in the U.S. The study compared 182 cities across 28 different metrics. Metrics include groceries affordability, food accessibility, high-quality restaurants, food festivals per capita, restaurants per capita and more.
New Mexico had two cities land in the rankings. Albuquerque ranked 60 overall and Las Cruces ranked 157 overall. In individual metrics Albuquerque ranked 55 in food affordability and 64 in diversity, accessibility and quality. Las Cruces ranked 12 and 175 in the same individual metrics.
