Raluca Mihaela Popescu-Goglea has been appointed CEO of UniCredit Leasing, while Emil Mitescu has become CEO of UniCredit Consumer Financing.
Raluca Mihaela Popescu-Goglea took over the role of CEO of UniCredit Leasing Romania in September 2025, after more than 22 years of professional growth within the UniCredit family. She has held key positions within UniCredit Bank in Romania and at Group level, covering multiple roles and responsibilities in the Corporate area.
In the past three years, she has served as Executive Vice President of the Corporate Division of UniCredit Bank, previously holding a similar position at UniCredit Bulbank Bulgaria since 2019. Raluca graduated from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa and Bucharest Business School.

Emil Mitescu previously held the position of Head of Strategy and Transformation at Alpha Bank Romania, and since August he has taken on the role of CEO of UniCredit Consumer Financing. He has 23 years of banking experience in the Romanian market, including over 17 years within the Alpha Group, where he coordinated areas such as strategy, digital strategy and innovation, and change management.
Since October 2023, he has been part of the coordination team for the merger process between UniCredit Bank and Alpha Bank Romania. Emil is a graduate of the Faculty of International Economic Relations and is passionate about history and mountain hiking.
