Watch This: Sci-Fi Short Film Trilogy ‘FLOAT3RS’ – About A.I. Drones

“FLOAT3RS – ChatGPT today, Shit ICBM’s tomorrow.” Ha ha. A funny sci-fi short film riffing on A.I. called Float3rs is available to watch online now. This is actually the third short in a trilogy of CG animated short films called Floaters, following stories of robots getting into trouble (watch all three below). Float3rs is a wry look at Artificial Intelligence that is so advanced, that it’s no longer that intelligent. (Aren’t we already there? Ha…) This time we join up with three floating warheads as they discover that there may be a bug or two in their latest operating system update. Good news for anyone wondering: “no AI was harmed or, more importantly, used during the making of the new Float3rs.” The A.I. drones in this latest short are voiced by Lucy Briggs-Owen (Bloodborne, Dark Souls, Civilization), Verity Henry (Coronation Street, Hebburn) and Kathryn Bond (Urban Myths, Semi-Detached).
