Your Honor Season 2 released one year ago and since then fans who enjoyed the Bryan Cranston-led legal drama have been wondering about a Season 3‘s release date as they were anticipating when it could be coming out. An adaptation of the Israeli TV series Kvodo, the story follows Michael Desiato, a New Orleans-based judge who initially deals with a big criminal case involving his son and later tries to take down the mob that ruined the lives of many people in the city.

Is there a Your Honor Season 3 release date?
There is no Your Honor Season 3 release date as it is unlikely to happen.
Showtime, the network behind Your Honor has not yet given out any confirmation regarding Season 3, even though a year has passed since the second season ended. Thus, fans should not be expecting it to happen anytime soon or at all.
However, in an appearance on the Tales from Yaya’s: The Your Honor podcast, Joey Hartstone the showrunner for Your Honor Season 2 admitted that he was interested in seeing a Season 3 but that it was above his pay grade and that positive audience reception mattered if a Season 3 renewal was going to happen. He said:
“It’s definitely above my pay grade. You know Season 1 ended and we thought that was going to be it. Obviously, there was a Season 2. I think the hope is always that a show will be successful and well-liked by its audience enough that there can be a future somehow. It’s not my call but I would be happy to see it continue.”
Moreover, Your Honor star Bryan Cranston mentioned in a 2023 Deadline interview that Showtime had some interest in producing Season 3 and that there was “some discussion” but that there would need to be a “great” reason to keep expanding the story of the series. This is despite Cranston mentioning in a 2022 Armchair Expert with Dax Shepherd interview that Season 2 was the last season.
Your Honor’s cast includes Bryan Cranston, Hope Davis, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Michael Stuhlbarg, Lilli Kay, Benjamin Flores Jr., Jim Stanton, Keith Machekanyanga, and Andrene Ward-Hammond. Peter Moffat and Joey Hartsone served as showrunners for Seasons 1 and 2 respectively.
Why Your Honor Season 3 might not be happening anytime soon?
Your Honor Season 3 probably isn’t coming out because the declining ratings and viewership faced by Season 2, wherein the viewership went from Season 1’s 590,500 to 510,000 and the ratings dropped from Season 1’s 0.081 to 0.049, likely convinced the creators that a third season was not worth producing (as per ScreenRant).
The official synopsis for Your Honor reads:
“New Orleans judge Michael Desiato is forced to confront his own deepest convictions when his son is involved in a hit and run that embroils an organized crime family.”
