17-year-old-shot in front of Ralphs after Granada Hills High football game

Police are searching Friday for the suspect who shot a 17-year-old boy in a leg in front of a Ralphs grocery store in Granada Hills.

The shooting occurred after a football game at Granada Hills Charter High School and was reported around 9:30 p.m. Thursday near Chatsworth Street and Zelzah Avenue, NBC 4 reported.

The boy ran into the store after he was shot and asked for help, and then was taken to a hospital, according to NBC 4.

It was not immediately known if the boy was a student at the school.

There is no suspect description, Los Angeles police Officer Rosario Cervantes told City News Service.
