Downtown Disney will soon be home to four new shops selling Marvel super hero gear, trendy Disneyland merch, sugary sweets and Japanese-inspired slime treats as the mall continues a seemingly never-ending evolution.
Avengers Reserve, D-Lander, Wonderful World of Sweets and Kawaii Slime will open this winter at the Anaheim outdoor shopping mall next to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

The winter opening dates mean the new Downtown Disney shops should debut between Christmas Week and late March.

Avengers Reserve
Avengers Reserve will sell Marvel clothing, toys, collectibles and comic books — serving as the superhero counterpart to the nearby Star Wars Trading Post.

D-Lander
The D-Lander shop will offer Disneyland clothing and jewelry that’s trendier and more stylish than what’s available in the World of Disney. D-Lander sounds like a new take on the former D Street shop that was replaced by the Disney Home store.
Avengers Reserve and D-Lander will take over new retail locations under construction next to the Downtown Disney outdoor stage area and the upcoming Parkside Market.

Disney Wonderful World of Sweets
The Disney Wonderful World of Sweets reimagines and expands on the former Marceline’s Confectionery candy shop.
The exhibition kitchen will be back where shoppers can watch churro toffee, caramel apples, sour balls, lollipops and caramel popcorn being made by hand.
A Marceline’s Confectionery cart is stationed in front of the shop selling a few select treats while construction continues.

Kawaii Slime
The Kawaii Slime cart will sell stretchable, foldable and twistable slime sensory toys in wild scents like Unicorn Butter, Gummy Shark Jelly, Marshmallow Goo, Watermelon Sugar and Strawberry Mousse.
The Henderson, Nevada, company was started as an Etsy shop by a stressed out mom with a Korean, Japanese, Irish, English and French heritage and a love of Japanese “super cute” Kawaii culture.
The new shops offset a series of retailers that have left Downtown Disney since the pandemic closure of the mall — including Tortilla Jo’s Mexican restaurant, Sprinkles cupcakes, California Sole shoes and the Void VR gaming experience.
