5th meeting of the Partnership for Transatlantic Energy and Climate Cooperation (P-TECC) in Bucharest

The US Department of Energy, Romanian Ministry of Energy, and the Atlantic Council’s Global Energy Center announced that it will convene the fifth Partnership for Transatlantic Energy and Climate Cooperation (P-TECC) meeting in Bucharest, Romania, from July 23-24.

Public and private industry leaders will discuss European energy security, industrial policy to advance clean energy, physical and cybersecurity of energy infrastructure, the advancement of geothermal energy, and strategies to support the rebuilding of Ukraine’s energy sector.

The convening has several components:

PTECC’s Business Forum and Alliance of Green Cities event on July 23 will be held to discuss energy security, the energy transition, infrastructure projects, and how cities implement strategies to accelerate clean pathways.

The Ministerial on July 24 will focus on the role of industrial policy in meeting our transatlantic energy security and climate goals.
