NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and the state’s Regulation and Licensing Department are hosting an event to connect residents impacted by the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon wildfires with licensed contractors.

The “Contractor Connects” event aims to help residents begin the rebuilding process and avoid contractor fraud. Disaster Case Managers will also be at the event to assist community members.
The event is free and open to the public. Residents do not need to register to attend this event. The event will be held on June 1 at the Mora Elementary School gym from 9 a.m. to noon.
