Installation

Clone the repository:

Navigate to the backend folder and install dependencies:

cd Task-Unity/backend
npm install

Navigate to the frontend folder and install dependencies:

cd ../frontend
npm install

Set up your backend .env file:

MONGO_DB_URL=“mongodb://127.0.0.1:27017/taskUnityDB”
AUTH_SECRET_KEY=“thisistheauthsecretkeyforauthenticationpurpose”

Set up your frontend .env file:

REACT_APP_HOST=“http://localhost:8000”

Run the backend server:

cd ../backend
npm start

Run the frontend server:

cd ../frontend
npm start
