Los Padillas Aquatic Center opens for summer of 2024

BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) — It’s been a long wait for residents in the southwest part of the city, but now, the final county pool is officially open and ready to help cool people down this summer.

The pool at the Los Padillas Aquatic Center opened for the summer season on Sunday. The pool delayed opening after the pipes needed some work done. Mechanical issues were discovered during that work and delayed the opening even more. Finally, though, the community can visit the pool.

How much money do you need to make to be in the top 5% in New Mexico?

The center offers different time slots for adult lap swim, swim lessons, and open recreational swimming. The pool will stay open from now until Labor Day Weekend.
