Hobbs offering locations for people to safely shoot fireworks

HOBBS, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Hobbs is offering multiple chances for people to light their fireworks in a safe location with trained personnel present.


Three New Mexico women honored with historic markers

The city is hosting the safe zone at Hobbs Industrial Air Park, 5425 Jack Gomez Blvd. at the following times:

July 4, 8 p.m. to 12 p.m.

July 5, 8:00 p.m. to 11 p.m.

July 6th, 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

People participating in the event will not be allowed to bring alcohol or pets. Fireworks must be legal within Hobbs city limits and other types of explosives will not be lit or blown up..
