Baseball Film ‘You Gotta Believe’ Trailer w/ Luke Wilson & Greg Kinnear

“There’s nothing that makes me feel better than watching ya’ll play ball.” “But we’re awful.” Well Go has revealed the official trailer for a kids baseball movie called You Gotta Believe, a cheesy uplifting tale of a true story of a Little League team in 2002. This one is set to hit theaters in late August in just a few months – right around when school starts back up again. Based on the inspiring true story: after dedicating the season to a teammate’s ailing father, a group of underdogs from Fort Worth, Texas, takes its Cinderella run all the way to a record-breaking showdown in the 2002 Little League World Series. This baseball movie “tells the heartwarming story of a group of young boys who, after a teammate’s father is diagnosed with cancer, really banded together and learned to play the game they loved for a cause much greater than themselves.” From Texas filmmaker Ty Roberts, the film stars Luke Wilson, Greg Kinnear, Sarah Gadon, Lew Temple, Michael Cash, Etienne Kellici, & Molly Parker. And a bunch of Little Leaguers, too. As schmaltzy as some of the lines in this trailer are, this still looks like it might end up a satisfying watch anyway. Batter up! // Continue Reading ›
