ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The U.S. Forest Service is tackling a fire in the Sandia Ranger District south of Placitas, New Mexico. They say lightning caused the fire.
The New Mexico Forestry Division initially tackled the fire. But they disengaged due to weather issues. Now the Forest Service is handling the task.
