Since its recent theatrical release, Kill has generated significant buzz with positive reception from the audiences. Recent reports have confirmed that a leading streaming platform has secured the rights to stream the film. This indicates that it will soon be available on OTT.
Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, Kill premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, 2023, before hitting Indian theaters on July 5, 2024. It was also featured at the Tribeca Film Festival. The film stars Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chhaya, and Tanya Maniktala. Moreover, it has been produced under the joint banner of Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment.
Kill follows the story of Amrit, a commando who boards a train and confronts a group of robbers who threaten and kill passengers. Amrit takes it upon himself to protect the innocent travelers and neutralize the assailants. This leads to an intense action and cinematic spectacle throughout the film. The film’s high levels of violence earned it an “A” certificate from the Central Board of Certification.

As Kill continues its theatrical run, fans eagerly await news of its OTT release date. Recent reports from 123telugu confirm that Disney Plus Hotstar has acquired the film’s streaming rights for a significant sum.
However, the makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding its OTT release. Following the typical trend in Indian cinema, the film makes its digital debut after 45-60 days of its theatrical release. Additionally, Kill’s OTT release also depends upon its box office performance.
Speaking of box office performance, Kill opened to a collection of approximately $149,758 on its first day. The second day saw a substantial growth of 72%, earning around $257,587. This brings the film’s overall India net collection to $800,317.
With Kill still playing in theaters, fans are looking forward to further announcements regarding its digital release.
