“Krazy House is taped in front of a live studio audience.” (Though not really…) XYZ Films has revealed an official trailer for the film Krazy House, a bonkers weird & crazy creation from the two Dutch filmmakers Steffen Haars & Flip van der Kuil. This premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival at Midnight, and the reviews were awful. It’s an acquired taste if you’re into this kind of wacky humor. When Russian workers in Bernie’s house turn out to be wanted criminals on the hunt for stashed loot, Bernie must man up and save his wife and the rest of his studio audience approved sitcom family. It’s a riff on 90s sitcoms, taking place all in one “crazy house”, but with even more disgusting and heinous things happening all the time. The horror film stars Nick Frost, Alicia Silverstone, Kevin Connolly, Gaite Jansen, and Walt Klink. I saw this at Sundance and absolutely hated it, but hey, some people might be into this.
