IU held a two-night concert at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Seoul, South Korea on September 21 and 22, celebrating the conclusion of her ‘HEREH’ world tour. On the first night of the shows, IU surprised fans by debuting an unreleased song titled ‘Bye Summer’.

However, the K-pop star told the audience that she had no intention of releasing, saying that it was “made just for the encore concert”, according to Koreaboo. “I don’t usually like summer. But this summer, when I was on tour around the world, has been one of the best I’ve had. It felt longer than usual, so I wrote this song,” IU said.

IU’s massive 2024 ‘HEREH’ world tour – originally titled ‘H.E.R’ – kicked off on March 2 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea, where she played four concerts over two weekends, featuring special appearances from NewJeans, Park Bo-gum and more.

The tour was in support of IU’s most recently released project, her sixth mini-album titled ‘The Winning’ that released in late February this year. The album boasted two title tracks: ‘Shopper’ and ‘Holssi’. The accompanying music video for the former song was notably narrated and produced by DPR Ian, who also made an appearance.

In other news, Netflix has dropped the first-ever teaser trailer for the upcoming second season of Hellbound, as well as announced its premiere date of October 25. The sequel comes about three years since the acclaimed series debuted on Netflix in 2021.
