It’s an effort to keep children safe and away from crime. This week’s final theme is to celebrate the day of remembrance by helping those who have lost a loved one to homicide. “This is all about making sure we have safe places for youth to gather to get some resources and to give them a positive activity. And that’s what this is about. We still have a lot of work to do,” said Albuquerque City Councilor Nicole Rodgers.

The last event will take place Saturday at the Albuquerque Community Safety headquarters from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
