Fergus James Joins My Kitchen Rules As A Gatecrasher

Announced on an episode of My Kitchen Rules on Tuesday, where two teams were sent home – a first in the show’s history – and three gatecrashers were introduced, Sydney-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Fergus James and his mum Caz have been announced as one of three newcomers to the cooking game show.

Some may recognise the Armidale artist from his support slot on Ed Sheeran’s ÷ Tour across Australia in 2018, or the Splendour In The Grass stages in 2019. More recently, he played headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne in February and took it back to his hometown by playing Armidale’s Big Chill Festival in May. Since May, James had been relatively hushed online, leaving his fans to wonder what they are in store for.

But as per the artist’s Instagram post, he has “put down cooking up tunes in the studio for cooking up some heat in the kitchen”.

Will we catch Fergus James serving up his signature dish of chickpea and cauliflower yellow curry in the weeks to come?

Be sure to tune in to My Kitchen Rules every week on Channel 7 to find out.
