The pop sensation is due to embark on the first leg of her upcoming world tour with a show at the Centre Videotron in Québec on September 29, touring across North America through to the end of December 2024.

As part of the upcoming tour, Eilish – who is well known for her environmental activism – has partnered with Google so attendees can find eco-friendly transportation and plant-based food options around the many cities her show will be stopping in.

The ‘Birds Of A Feather’ singer will offer tips for options like public transport, walking, biking and efficient routes to make it to venues, according to Billboard.

The nine-time Grammy-winning artist will also recommend where fans will be able to grab a plant-based bite to eat in Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Nashville, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C..

Eilish’s picks will be available for fans to browse on the Maps app in each of these cities.

“I am so excited to see you all at my shows over the coming months, and for us to work together in reducing our collective footprint when it comes to transportation and what we eat,” Eilish said in a statement.

“Every action matters, no matter how big or small, and together we can truly begin to heal our beautiful planet. Thanks to Google Maps, everyone will have easy access to resources that will help you make great sustainable choices when you come to my shows. Thank you for caring. See you soon!”

Earlier this year, Eilish announced details of her eco-friendly vinyl for her ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’.

The announcement came after she criticised artists who release multiple vinyl formats to boost album sales, calling the practise “really frustrating”. “I can’t even express to you how wasteful it is,” she told Billboard.

However, the singer followed up by addressing the backlash against those comments. “I wasn’t singling anyone out,” she said, “these are industry-wide systemic issues. & when it comes to variants, so many artists release them – including ME! Which I clearly state in the article.”

Last year, Eilish hosted the ‘Overheated’ climate action event in London with her mother.

Speaking with NME backstage, Maggie Baird shared: “Everybody knows the clock is ticking. The truth is, touring is in jeopardy. The music industry is in jeopardy. If you don’t do it now, you’ll be forced to do it in the future.”

Once Eilish wraps up the North American leg of her latest tour, she’ll continue on to dates in the UK, Europe and Australia. You can find all the details and purchase any remaining tickets here.
