Game of the Week

Santa Fe and Eldorado met as new district opponents, each looking for a first district win of the season. The Eagles came out on top 22-16.

“I think we played good defense and made plays on offense a little bit,” said Eldorado head cach Charlie Dotson. “The last couple of weeks we have played games the wind has been a factor so its always going to cause some bad snaps, some bad throws and all of that. So, the teams that take advantage of that are the ones that win games.”

Last week Hope Christian notched its second victory of the season with a 62-12 win in Estancia. The Huskies offense was on fire behind the play of quarterback Roman Montoya, as he finished with nine total touchdowns (two rushing, seven passing).
