National Independent Venue Foundation Launches Emergency Relief Fund Following Hurricane Helene

RMAG news

After making landfall last week and generating widespread damage throughout the Southern Region of the United States, the National Independent Venue Foundation has launched an Emergency Relief Fund to support independent music venues and promoters. In the wake of the devastating events, the National Independent Venue Foundation is seeking donations to increase its aid.

The National Independent Venue Foundation Emergency Relief Fund will make a significant difference by providing crucial financial support to live music establishments and festivals most affected by the category four hurricane. It will primarily focus on independent venues that are integral parts of their communities, making your contribution all the more significant.

For consideration, venues can apply for the NIVF Relief Fund, which will be accepting applications on a rolling basis throughout the year. Requests will be reviewed case-by-case by the ERF Committee, which the NIVF Board of Directors will guide.

According to the organization’s website, “The mission of NIVF is to preserve and nurture the ecosystem of independent live performance venues and promoters throughout the United States by supporting a transparent, competitive marketplace serving a diverse and inclusive community of artists, fans, and industry workers.”

Donate here to keep the lights on and assist independent venues affected by Hurricane Helene.
