Adam Brody, in a 2021 episode of Anna Faris’ podcast Unqualified, shared that he and his wife, Leighton Meester, first met before their on-screen collaboration in the 2011 film The Oranges. Brody revealed that the producer of the television series Gossip Girl played a pivotal role in their initial encounter.
He said they met at a restaurant with the cast of The O.C., when ”he introduced all of us and then bumped into her, like, two or three times over the next couple of years.”
According to a report by Elle Magazine, Brody and Meester started their romantic relationship in February 2013. However, just months later it was reported that the two were engaged.
