ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A site dedication ceremony was held on Wednesday for a newly expanded manufacturing center in Albuquerque. Kairos Power is building on to their manufacturing development campus in Mase Del Sol.

The facility has been in the neighborhood since 2022, creating technology to use in nuclear reactors. “The average job pays over $100,000, and how meaningful that is for the community. More than 130 total jobs is just amazing. Improved safety of nuclear reactor technology, the reduced consumption of water, all these amazing things,” said Alex Greenberg, economic development policy advisor for the state of New Mexico.
