Oasis Australian Tour To Be Revealed Tuesday 8am

In a new height for teases, Oasis have hit Australian streets… not to announce their tour, but to announce that they are going to announce it. This weekend billboards have popped up announcing that the long-awaited tour will be dropping details on Tuesday at 8am.

The billborads carry the simple message: “Australia, It’s Your Shout”.

We already knew that the Gallaghers were dusting off their passports with The Music revealing last week that the tour was likely to be visiting Melbourne and Sydney.

Insiders have confirmed to The Music that the tour is likely to kick off in Melbourne on October 31st next year and in Sydney at Accor Stadium on November 7th with multiple dates to be released in each city as demand is confirmed.

Initially announcing a string of shows in the UK and Ireland, the string of cities across the world that Oasis will supposedly take their Live ‘25 tour to was revealed including:

Toronto, Canada
Chicago, US
East Rutherford, New Jersey, US
Boston, US
Los Angeles, US
Mexico City, Mexico
Seoul, South Korea
Tokyo, Japan
Melbourne, Australia
Sydney, Australia
Sao Paulo, Brazil
Santiago, Chile
Buenos Aires, Argentina

It is anticipated that tickets will be fixed price to avoid the controversy in the UK and US of dynamic ticket pricing which saw fans paying well over the advertised price when they got to the front of digital queues. The band released the following statement following the backlash:

“While prior meetings between promoters, Ticketmaster and the band’s management resulted in a positive ticket sale strategy, which would be a fair experience for fans, including dynamic ticketing to help keep general ticket prices down as well as reduce touting, the execution of the plan failed to meet expectations.

“All parties involved did their utmost to deliver the best possible fan experience, but due to the unprecedented demand this became impossible to achieve.”

Keep an eye on TheMusic.com.au for all the details as soon as they’re announced at 8am Tuesday.
