AXS TV has partnered with Julien’s Auctions, the venerable music memorabilia auction house, to support “Property From The Life And Career Of Christine McVie,” to provide fans and collectors with the ultimate all-access pass to over 650 collectibles from “Songbird,” McVie’s personal trove items. The network will air two days of programming, Oct. 12 and 13, showcasing the musician’s prized artifacts. The staging will occur ahead of the live and online auction at Julien’s Auctions on Oct. 16 and 17.

Festivities are set to commence on Saturday, Oct. 12, with two separate runnings of Fleetwood Mac, Live in Boston Concert (3 p.m. and 11 p.m. E.T),  to establish the tone of the weekend, which continues with an in-depth look at the making of Rumours, before a candid conversation between McVie’s bandmates, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. The following Sunday will pick up with another Buckingham interview before the debut of  Property From the Life and Career of Christine McVie, Oct. 13’s main event.

The Sunday special will feature insight into McVie’s collection ahead of the auction, provided by Martin Nolan, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Julien’s Auctions. The 30-minute original program will examine 650 stage and studio-used items worn, played, and obtained by the musician. Included are art pieces and jewelry, handwritten lyrics, setlists, awards, and other one-of-a-kind items.

According to the official press release, which outlines the impending opportunity to own a piece of rock history, highlights of McVie’s collection include her Rumours GRAMMY nomination plaque, 1998 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Award, the Hammond XK-5 Organ used on tour with Fleetwood Mac, chord sheets culled from the Tusk LP, setlists from An Evening With Fleetwood Mac tour, a 1917 watercolor painting “St. Cecilia” by British painter Edward Reginald Frampton and many other unique pieces.

“Julien’s Auctions is the premier auction house for world-class music memorabilia, and we are proud to partner with them to our give viewers an inside look at the personal collection of one of music’s most celebrated artists—the legendary Christine McVie,” Andy Schuon, President of AXS TV offered. “Christine was an iconic artist both as a member of Fleetwood Mac, and as an acclaimed solo artist. We are pleased to join them in celebrating her life as we continue to find exciting new ways to give our viewers access to music’s most important events, and moments that they can only get from AXS TV.”
