“This is bigger than the ancestors… bigger than us! The entire ocean is counting on us!” Disney debuted a new “Special Look” trailer for their upcoming sequel Moana 2 from Disney Animation. Opening in theaters nationwide during the Thanksgiving holidays next month. The original Moana musical opened in late 2016 and became a beloved global hit, ending up as a favorite of many young viewers everywhere. This sequel is the first feature made at Disney’s Vancouver studio. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana journeys to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced. What will she find out there? Auli’i Cravalho returns as the voice of Moana, with Dwayne Johnson back as Maui + Alan Tudyk as Hei Hei, plus Rachel House, Temuera Morrison, Nicole Scherzinger, and Rose Matafeo. This is a better trailer than the last one, packing in tons of actually exciting footage. Sea monsters! Family & friends! Another mystery!
